❖ About
Habitat for Humanity of Michigan (HFHM) began in 1993 with the purpose to increase the capacity of Habitat for Humanity affiliates across Michigan to build simple decent homes in partnership with people in need. The HFHM office is located in Lansing and since its’ establishment has grown and become the first successful state support organization in the country. HFHM supports the 68 Habitat for Humanity affiliates with leadership development programs, educational training, networking opportunities and administration of grants from government, corporate and private sector entities.
HFHM also seeks to create statewide awareness and advocacy addressing the need for decent affordable housing within the state. Through evaluation of the current growth potential of Habitat across Michigan, from a business perspective, HFHM has stood firm to strengthen the faith pillars of our work and will continue to progress by relentless dedication to eradicating poverty housing.
